A grand military parade and march took place in Ho Chi Minh City on Wednesday morning, April

30th, to mark the 50th anniversary of Vietnam’s reunification, one of the country’s most significant

commemorative events. According to the official schedule, the ceremony began at 6:30 a.m. on

Wednesday along Le Duan Boulevard in front of the Reunification Palace in District 1. The national

parade in Ho Chi Minh City began with a 21-gun salute at the Bach Dang Wharf area, followed by an

aerial display featuring 10 helicopters carrying the Party and national flags, and 23 fighter jets flying

over the city. Parade units departed from the Le Duan - Nguyen Binh Khiem intersection and passed

the main grandstand before dispersing in four directions toward designated assembly areas. To

Trai Street and Phu Dong Roundabout, as well as near Tao Dan Park, where parade units regroup

after the event.
