• Lead in T: What is conservation ? Ss : T :It’s is the protection of natural things, such as plants and animals Do you need to protect plants and animals ? Why or why not ? In order to understand them,today we’re going to study unit 10: Conservation. II. Pre-reading :

1.Vocabulary :(8') - conservation (n) preservation of natural environment - conserve(v) -loss(n) :losing (explanation)

- T: What ‘s the antonym of “to win” Ss: to lose. T:what’s the noun? - loss (n) -variety (n) : different from of a thing ,quality - various (adj) = different -distrution (n) (synonym) T: What’s the synonym of “destroying” - circulation (n) : su luu thong (translation )

2.Checking: R.O.R (1') III.While reading: 1. Macthing : (task 1-P.105 )(8') You read the paragraphs and macth the word in A with a suitable definition in B. T encourages Ss to guess the meaning of the words in the context Ss compare their answers with a friend T calls on some Ss to explain their answers in front of the class. Y makes necessary corrections Keys: 1.c ; 2.a ; 3.d ; 4.b. 2.T/F statements: (Task 2.P/106) (pairwork) T asks Ss to read the paragraphs carefully and decide whether the statements are T or F. 2. Main idea for each paragraph (Task 3 .P/106) (8') T asks Ss to reread the paragraphs and choose the most suitable main idea for each paragraph A-3 ;B-4 ;C-2 IV. Post - reading (10')

- Answering questions. Have Ss read the paragraphs again . Ss compare their answer with another pair. Call on some Ss to read their answer aloud in front of the class. T gives feedback. Keys : 1. Aims : - to help Ss practise talking and presenting the problems about conserving precious and rare animals by building a new kind of zoo.

- to develop the skill of speaking Teaching aids : textbooks and charts. Procedure: I . Warmer : (5') Below is a list of animals .Classify them to the following categories (group work ) Horse,elephant,monkey, sheep, pig, hen, tiger, giraffee,snake, lion cat, parrot, fish,panda.
