Unit 7: TELEVISION Lesson 1: Getting started

II. Presentation 1. Listen and answer the question. * Present the dialogue: Phong and Hung are talking about TV programme tonight. You will listen to the computer to see what they are talking about. - Play the recording - Give correct answer. They are talking about their favourite television programmes.

- Students have 20 seconds to look at the pictures about television programs. After that they have 60 seconds to write the names of the programs in their worksheets. The group who writes the most correct programs is the winner.

III. Practice * Read aloud: Ask the students to read the conversation aloud in pair. Exercise 1.a: Read the conversation again and answer the questions:
