Rewrite each sentence so that it contains the phrasal verb in brackets. You may have to change the form of the verb.
1. In my village, the old artisans teach the younger ones the techniques to make beautiful baskets. (pass down)

3. Her elder sister gave Mai most of her clothes. (hand down)

Mẹo: cụm động từ (phrasal verb) phải chia đúng thì/ngôi như trong câu gốc; giữ nguyên nghĩa.
a) (pass down) — *pass sth down (to sb)* = truyền lại (kĩ năng, truyền thống) cho thế hệ sau.
Câu gốc dùng thì hiện tại đơn ($teach$), chủ ngữ số nhiều *the old artisans* nên giữ nguyên *pass*.
→ In my village, the old artisans pass down the techniques to make beautiful baskets to the younger ones.
b) (take care of) — *take care of sb/sth* = chăm sóc, trông nom (= be responsible for).
Chủ ngữ *our neighbours* (số nhiều), hiện tại đơn → *take care of*.
→ When we aren't at home, our neighbours take care of our cats.
c) (hand down) — *hand sth down (to sb)* = để lại / cho lại (quần áo, đồ cũ) cho người nhỏ hơn.
Câu gốc ở quá khứ đơn ($gave$) nên chia *handed down*.
→ Her elder sister handed down most of her clothes to Mai.
d) (get on with) — *get on (well) with sb* = hòa hợp, thân thiết với ai.
Thêm *well* để diễn đạt "friendly relationship"; chủ ngữ *She and her classmates* (số nhiều) → *get on*.
→ She and her classmates get on well with each other.
e) (remind of) — *remind sb of sb/sth* = làm ai nhớ đến / gợi nhớ ai.
Chủ ngữ *His hair and face* (số nhiều), tân ngữ người là *me* → *remind me of*.
→ His hair and face remind me of his father.
